Contact Fighting
Contact Fighting - this is fighting with a fellow candidate matched as closely as possible on the day by height, age and ability. Students are expected to show control to the face, specific targeting, varied techniques, attack and defence. Gloves are compulsory and gumshields are recommended but optional.

Each child is expected to fight for around one minute against another student. They will be matched on height to the best of our ability. They must show they can attack as well as defend and not give up. Gloves are a necessity and although a gum shield is not, it would be advised.
